BC Dental Hygiene Fee Guide

At Sage Dental Hygiene we believe in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Our team of experienced hygienists is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to meet your unique needs.

We bill according to the BCDHA (British Columbia Dental Hygienists' Association) fee guide.

We understand that no one likes surprises, especially when it comes to cost of treatment! We are happy to provide treatment estimates prior to each appointment.

Payment

Payment in full is due 48 hours from invoicing.

We accept payment by E-Transfer. Visa and Mastercard coming soon!

Insurance

At this time, we do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company - due to the Personal Information Protection Act we are unable to tell you your exact coverage, however as a courtesy we are happy to assist you in navigating your insurance coverage.

Upon payment, we are pleased to electronically submit your claim to your insurance company for possible reimbursement directly to you!

What is the CDCP Fee Guide?

The CDCP fee guide is the amount the plan will reimburse the dental hygienist for a qualifying treatment. This amount is approximately 20-45% less than the recommended provincial fees, as set by the British Columbia Dental Hygienist's Association (BCDHA).

How much am I covered for?

A client's coverage level is based on annual household income. Client's have either 100%, 60% or 40% coverage. Your coverage level will be included in your enrollment package.

What is Balance Billing?

Clients with CDCP coverage will be required to pay their co-pay, plus the difference between their CDCP fee guide coverage and the BCDHA fee for the treatment provided.
